welcome to the downforce blog. i’m a high schooler in riyadh who has loved formula one for as long as i can remember, and this is where i write about it.

i started the blog in october 2025 because i wanted a place to put my actual thoughts on races instead of reposting what everyone else was saying. this site is its new home.

what you’ll find here:

• race and sprint reports, with opinions attached
• hot takes on the championship, the stewards and whatever else in the paddock is worth reacting to
• the beginner’s guide to F1, for anyone new to the sport
• the occasional story from the track, when i’m lucky enough to be there

a warning before you read anything: i’m a massive aston martin fan and an even bigger fernando alonso fan, and that bias shows up in the writing. so does everything else i think about the sport.

there’s no schedule. i’m a student, so posts go up when i have something to say and the time to say it.
